I was so excited at the first when I heard WCG 2008 is located in Chengdu, China.
I may not say it really means anything, like Chinese Esport bla bla…. But, just like a comment on pcgames.com.cn — finally our great players won’t be stopped by ambassador.
It has been years, Esport becomes a shortcut for youth to make their dream come true. In US, everyone has an American dream and do everything to make it happen. In China, Esport becomes the new age Chinese dream. And it is not like Olympic, it is for new age, 21st century. We do not compete how strength your body is; we compete how smart you are.
At this moment, I feel a little bit sad either. It is because there are so many people in the world do not understand and even give China a chance to show ourselves to the world. What is wrong with China, what is wrong with Chinese people, why you guys hate us that much?
Okay, I know, some of them may think they only hate Chinese government not people, but things you westerners did hurt Chinese people. It is not that easy China becomes such a strong country. We have suffered the pains in the slavery of Qing Dynasty, we have suffered the pains in the toxic of opium of European, we have suffered death in the World War II under bayonets of Japanese intruders, and we have suffered misleading in Culture Revolution.
Now, it is time let Chinese people takes a rest and enjoys the happy life we have missed. Please, please give us a chance, do not push us.
Recently, I always think about premier Wen. He did all he can to make China this huge country better. But it is a tough job. And when riots happened in Xizhang, I do not know what he thought. But if I am the premier of China, I may cry. Like when I was a child, nobody could help me when I was involved in a fight, I do not have brothers. Now, China just like a only child, she is so lonely, no sisters, and no brothers. Not even some guy jump out say some justice talks.
I hope more and more people could understand, Iraq is not getting better. Iran will not be better under US democracy.
