很多iPhoneApp都使用TabBar（不会翻译…），它也是一个非常简单易用的视图控制器。

selectedIndex

（被选tab的索引）
– 如果你想得到第几个tab被选中的话，这个就是了

selectedViewController

（被选tab的视图控制器）
– 参数和返回值都是一个视图控制器

viewControllers

（视图控制器(们)）
– 方法是主要指定这个tabBar的子控制器们
– 返回值也是当前tabBar所有的子控制器们，应该是个Array吧

Navigation Controller 是最重要的iPhone组建之一了，以下是一些“关键方法”

pushViewController:viewController animated:BOOL

（加载视图控制器）
– 添加指定的视图控制器并予以显示，后接：是否动画显示

popViewControllerAnimated:BOOL

（弹出当前视图控制器）
– 弹出并向左显示前一个视图

popToViewController:viewController animated:BOOL

（弹出到指定视图控制器）
– 回到指定视图控制器， 也就是不只弹出一个

popToRootViewControllerAnimated:BOOL

（弹出到根视图控制器）
– 比如说你有一个“Home”键，也许就会实施这个方法了。

setNavigationBarHidden:BOOL animated:BOOL

（设置导航栏是否显示）
– 如果你想隐藏导航栏，这就是地方了。参照Picasa的WebApp样式

对于开发基于视图（view）的Mac/iPhone程序的时候，这些事件代理（Delegate）是再重要不过了。我曾经是用无数NSLog来探测的各个事件代理的顺序的，哈哈

loadView:

（加载视图）
- 建立层次结构
- 在不使用 Interface Builder 的时候发生

viewDidLoad:

（视图已加载）
- 加载附加的资源和数据

viewWillAppear:

（视图快要被显示）
- 准备在屏幕上加载
- 视图不会在每次显示重新加载

viewDidAppear:

（视图已被显示）
- 动画和其他视觉元素被加载

解决方案：

在终端中运行一下命令：
defaults write com.apple.Xcode PBXCustomTemplateMacroDefinitions ‘{”ORGANIZATIONNAME” = “你的公司名”;}’

简单吧，如果不好使记得在前面加sudo

听说如果苹果发现你的Xcode里面是缺省的___MyCompanyName___, 他们就不会雇佣你 （基础知识很重要嘛，玩笑拉～）

记得是CS193P里的Presence2吧，需要读取一个plist作为数据源。
以下就是一个简单的读取plist到NSDictionary或NSArray的代码。

一个小提醒，读出来的可能是复杂对象，比如twitter的恶心json文件

上一期我介绍了自己经验累积的郭政良英语学习法，这回我来介绍一下怎么用魔兽争霸学英语

下面是人族牧师的一句话

单词：

nausea  n. 反呕, 作呕; 晕船

rectal  adj. 直肠的

itch  n.【医】疥疮

dementia  n. 【医】痴呆, 智力衰退

psychosis  n. 精神病

halitosis  n.【医】口臭

常看豪斯医生的人对这些单词应该已经很熟悉了，但是就算不对医学感兴趣，起码在遇到自己不舒服的时候还可以告诉医生自己怎么了

翻译：

可能的副作用包括，口干，恶心，呕吐，积水，肠溃疡，幻觉，痴呆，精神病，昏迷，死亡，和口臭。并不是每个人都适合使用魔法，使用前请联系您的医生。

其实大家看到美国的药品广告的最后一句话大都是这样的，一方面了解美国文化咯。而且，这句是牧师最棒的饶舌了，大家也可以用这句来联系自己的口语，用疯狂英语的方法，最大声，最快速，最清晰。到时候这些病名肯定能记住，而且嘴皮子也很利索了。

魔兽中的对话有很多都是很有趣的，而且玩家经常听到，但是没有深究其含义。希望大家喜欢我的魔兽英语讲座，我是郭政良，下期再见。

“Dry September” by William Faulkner (PDF file from Internet, Chinese translation)

I know a translated version will lost something from the original writing, but this one is pretty good translated. I was trying to read “The Sound and The Fury”, but it is way too long for me. So I found this short story for my assignment. This is a story in third-person narrative. I am not sure who is the protagonist, maybe the barber1. I like to use color to describe the feeling to read a story. “Barn Burning”  gave me the feeling of grey and blue. This story gave me the feeling of white and black. Not only because it talks about a issue of white people and black people, but the story is about two parts — black and white, attacker and victim, “a good man” and “a old virgin”, the soldier and the barber, right and wrong. Faulkner used black men as important roles in his stories, like this one, “Barn Burning”, “The Sound and The Fury” and “A Rose for Emily”. I believe he cares those who lives under pressure, he cares who lives in pain. The black is not easy to be a black. “Minnie” is not easy to be a old unmarried girl. I think I like this story. It has never been easy to speak up for lower class people or those people needs help. I think Faulkner is like a voice for them, and let everyone know such people exist in this world.

When I read this story, I did feel anything special till the end of it. I was like grey from the beginning, but at the end I don’t know which color could describe it. I was shocked. Like the people in this story, I thought Emily was going to kill herself. But later on, I start to ask:” why she’s still alive.” The end of the story gave me the answer, but really shocked me. I saw this kind of story or TV drama before. Some old ladies would not report the death of the husband. Some is for the retirement pay, some is because they really love their husbands. In the case of the story, I think is very strange. Emily’s father made her a “good virgin”2. I think it is just like “Dry September”, Emily’s mind may have some problem because of this. Even because his father’s death, she is all alone but the black servant. That makes her mind even worse. I am not sure Faulkner was pity this lady or just not like this kind of family. Did “he” kill by Emily? I think so. She does not want him leave. I think she wants someone stay with her. Loneliness makes her dissocial and strange. Do I like this story? Not the at the beginning, but with this ending — yes. It makes me think, so I think it is a good story. None of all these three story from Faulkner I read has a ending. I would wonder where would be the kid in “Barn Burning”, and what happened in those forty years in Emily’s house, and what happened to the black man in “Dry September”. Novels are fake stories. But, Faulkner gives us question from those stories, and I need to find answer from the real world. He is a great writer. I will finish “The Sound and The Fury” later.

“50-50” by Langston Hughes
I like Langston’s poems on our textbook, because they are easy to read and have very interesting under meanings. This poem is very funny. 50-50 could mean different in this poem. Man and woman are 50-50 of genders. This woman need another “50” of her life. The man wants “50” of her money, and her “bed”. 50-50 could mean balance or fair, but the irony in this poem is it does not sound very fair. I think the man wanted too much, and his answer is funny. I do not think his solution would make her smart. I like this poem for sure, because no poem in textbook really make me laugh, but this one did. It is different from “English B” and Harlem. Nothing about racism this time.

“I, Too” by Langston Hughes
This poem back to his old track, talks about racism in America. “Eat in Kitchen” was only for lower class people or youth in old days of China. OK, he did not care about this. He will still be him — “eat well, grow strong”. He know someday later, black folks would come up and have the same right with other Americans. He is right. I would like to send a picture of President Obama to the past to him, if possible someday. I feel this poem is so positive. Satisfied current situation with a hope of future, make ourselves stronger without care about other’s disturbance. They are what everyone should do, I think. At least, I would do like that.
